This place is right next to some famous liver and noodle joint so it is more tempting to go to the noodle place.Anyway, this place opens at 6pm and people are waiting to go in as soon as they open.There was an interesting risotto dish which is cooked with beetroot and fennel served with a plate of uni.I didn't try this but perhaps I will read the reviews and see if it is good.I went for the surf and turf for $138. You could say it is cheap but then you could say it is expensive because lobsters

I didn't try this but perhaps I will read the reviews and see if it is good.I went for the surf and turf for $138. You could say it is cheap but then you could say it is expensive because lobsters are getting cheap these days.
If you order this after 9pm, it costs $118 so its like $50 each for half a lobster and filet mignon.
For the surf and turf set, you get a soup, croissant and a drink too.The soup was carrot soup which was quite salty but had a strong carotene flavour .
I was impressed they served croissants because it tastes better than local bread.

I love Brussels sprouts and not many HK restaurants serve this.
The filet mignon was the Chinese style tenderized meat but I liked it because it was lean with no tendon bits in it.
The lobster was laced with too much seasoning and herbs because it overpowered its natural flavour and there was a bit too much flour on top.
The gravy and tomato ketchup came in decent portions and the waffle fries were there to fill you up.
Finished with a berry tea which was quite acidic and helps digestion~
