starter, parma ham mozzarella with rosemary forcaccia, really 24 mesi...?? well, mozzarella was good. 1st main, lasagna, was first "amazed" by its size, not the conventional thousand layers but a layer or two sheets of flat pasta sheet... made us skeptical about the taste, but the cheese smelled so good, that you know it just came fresh out from the oven! spinach pasta sheet was flavorful, ragu was moist, the baked cheese was sumptuous. satisfying. 2nd main, homemade spaghetti with truffle and parmesan cheese. absolutely stunned by the texture of the spaghetti, it was so good and so comforting! the sauce ran between the spaghetti, although not the fresh shaved truffle, but its pungent smell kept filling my nostrils. a really pleasant moment. 3rd main, porcini garlic cream pizza, was served on a ceramic flat plate, which is perfect for keeping the heat of the pizza and preventing the moisture formation underneath the pizza! the pungent poricin was complemented by the garlic cream. its taste was simply great!! the pizza crust was good, wasn't too thick but the texture was there. no dessert as we were too full...
wine selection by glass was ok, can be better.
service was nice and fast. the host (a lady) knows her menus very well (wine, a-la cart, pizza), also very helpful and efficient.
the chefs in the kitchen looked happy maybe that's why our dishes were very tasty ?
