I thought I'd read wrong with the prices here but they really are only around $18-22 each, that's putting them into McDonald's territory. That's surprise no.1.Surprise no 2? The beef patties here have a lot of 'beef flavour', despite being too thin (therefore slightly dry in centre too). It also had a fair bit of tendons and fat inside, but didn't feel as gritty as the one I had at Bowl Burger. The Hongkongnised bread bun was overly spongy however, being from one of the main 2-3 suppliers...

Surprise no 2? The beef patties here have a lot of 'beef flavour', despite being too thin (therefore slightly dry in centre too). It also had a fair bit of tendons and fat inside, but didn't feel as gritty as the one I had at Bowl Burger.

The Hongkongnised bread bun was overly spongy however, being from one of the main 2-3 suppliers... It could have been toasted a bit more and then pressed a bit more first.

Since I ordered a Mushroom with Cheese version, it actually came with an Eggy sauce but after it melted with the Cheese, I couldn't tell if it was only Eggy or half Eggy/half Cheesy. There's also a bit of mayonnaise thrown in, just as all Hong Kongnised burgers and pizzas do. I actually quite liked the sauce combinations however.

Unfortunately, my previously best preferred Absolute Burger in Delaynomore has gone downhill majorly, their patties aren't even the sizes they advertise at anymore and they're like around $75 for a burger, which is absurd. That burger has shrunk significantly in 'height' and substance.

This burger is a good substitute, even though the Pattie is kinda smallish it made up for it with 'taste'. This is even visually noticeable as the meat here is a natural red/brown and also tastes more meat than spongy bread, the latter a nuisance in most Hong Kong burger joints. Nothing beats a freshly made McDonald's Quarter Pounder though (even though the Hong Kong version is somehow smaller, more dry and the bread too spongy).

A mid '3' to low '4' here for now.
A VERY VALUE FOR MONEY BURGER, WITH BIG TASTE.

HOWEVER, MAJOR HYGIENE PROBLEMS. The burger maker does not wear gloves and handles money or talks on his mobile phone, then keeps using bare hands to make your burger. Eat at your own peril!
