Stereotypically, I thought that eating organic, vegetarian/vegan food at this restaurant might be bland and flavorless, but I was happy to be proven wrong!Went here today with my mom at around 12:45 PM - no wait for the table necessary. Went here today with my mom at around 12:45 PM - no wait for the table necessary. We ordered the roasted polenta (an appetizer) and a set lunch to share.

Carrot + Orange + Ginger + Green Lentil Soup
Really great soup! A heavy legume-y taste (which was good, not bad) with a light taste from the orange and ginger.

Roasted Polenta with mushrooms, caramelized onions, roasted red pepper sauce, garlic oil and fresh thyme
The polenta was one of my favorites. The vegetables inside the little polenta 'cakes' were a nice texture break from the rest of the polenta. There was a cheesy sauce that was on the plate as well that was really good - not sure if that was real cheese (perhaps not, I think) but it tasted quite a lot like it and was great.

Rice noodles with fried tofu, stir-fried vegetables in Thai Cashew sauce
Also a good dish - quite flavorful. The rice noodles, tofu and vegetables were all pretty standard - vegetables tasted pretty fresh in my opinion. The Thai cashew sauce was pretty mellow and I'm not sure what makes it "Thai", but it was good.

Organic coffee
Strong, but a bit too bitter. Had it with soya milk which was nice and didn't have too strong a taste to make it unenjoyable.

Organic cookie
Pretty good, with nuts, seeds (I think) and some other various spices (cinnamon?). Nice cookie, but nothing really special.

Service
The service was okay too, though not great. The dishes weren't cleared very quickly at all after we had finished which made it difficult since the table we were at was pretty small. The waiters and waitresses were pretty nice, though.

Atmosphere
Very mellow, yoga-y, healthy, vegan-y, hippie-ish kind of feel. I like it!

Consensus
Good food, nice ambience, makes you feel great after eating. However, I feel that these dishes could easily be made at home and it's not really worth the price.

Overall, I wouldn't come again because of this factor. Worthy trying, though, and I will have to try the deli sometime.
