We had a Thursday night dinner at Eatalian, which seemed quite a small and cosy place when we entered, but actually goes quite deep into the      building. We had a Thursday night dinner at Eatalian, which seemed quite a small and cosy place when we entered, but actually goes quite deep into the      building. We were welcomed by the manager, who recommended we start with their special, gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and rocket salad - it had caught my eye on the way in, and it's fairly rare to find in Hong Kong, so I was happy to try it, and wasn't disappointed. The sauce was rich       without being too thick, and the gnocchi were just the right amount of chewy.

The restaurant had a nice laid-back atmosphere, with nice background jazz playing when we were there. The staff were friendly and helpful,          happy to explain menu items or recommend choices.

I had a smoked salmon and asparagus pizza, which apart from being served with a cake slicer(!) was pretty good - well-covered with toppings,        obviously freshly-made and just the right size. My partner had the Black Angus outside skirt, which was a good size, with crunchy salad, and           cooked just the way she likes it, slightly bloody.

We couldn't decide between the desserts, so we had both the toffee banana walnut pie  - yummy! - and a piece of Napoleon cake, artistically           served edge-on...

Nice to find a place which doesn't automatically add 10%, and we took a peek at the lunch menu which looked pretty good value, noted for a           future visit.
