My friend recommended this place so we hopped on a cab and came here for lunch. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and there are some booth tables to give diners some privacy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but never pushy. We ordered the HK$12x set lunch where we can each choose an appetizer, main and dessert. We also ordered cava to go with the meal. Mozzarella with tomato and basil - very fresh and yummy. The home-made mozzarella is very light, but the texture is incredible. The basil is fresh and tastes yummy when taken together with the mozzarella and tomato. This was my favourite dish for the meal.
Meatball in tomato sauce - very good. Although we shared the starters, by this time and with all the bread I was full but still we manage to almost clear this plate.
Tuna fish salad - probably the only disappointing dish. We thought it would be fresh tuna, but it was canned brine tuna with romaine. The romaine was very fresh, but we skipped the tuna as it was nothing special.
Braised ox cheeks - good rustic Italian style with lots of basil and lots of tomato and a tad bit spicy. I personally don't like to eat beef that much, but this is very heart warming and filling dish.
I skipped the dessert and had coffee instead as I was too full.
Overall, the food here is very fresh and tasty. This is not a place to have fancy food, but this is one home-style Italian restaurant I think I will definitely visit again.
