Having had lunch at The L Place twice this week, I passed by Mano both times as it was located on the ground floor and felt intrigued by the casual cafe. When I watched the barista poured the milk, I can tell she knew what she was doing.

Latte ($42) - the expresso was a bit more bitter than what I'd usually prefer but it didn't bother me as much as I think it was due to the flavors of the beans more than that it was over-extracted. The milk was really nicely frothed with a velvety texture which helped to balance out the expresso. The price was on par with other cafes in this area which is rather pricey for the portion.

All in all, the latte here was solid and now I am interested to come back to try their food next time.
