The food was really great. It is different from traditional places like Koh-i-nor and not ultra modern like Veda. To start with, the basket of bread offered an interesting, variety of crackers etc. We were also given a small cup of lentil soup for starters. We ordered as main course the Rushni Kebab (chicken breast with light white sauce), which was so tender and juicy. The black lentils were good. We also ordered rice with lamb. The masala tea was unusally smooth and a bit like capuccino. They also gave us ten small packs of different mouth-refresheners to try e.g. aniseed, silver coated herbs, etc.

The deco was also nice. There were several limited edition/ nice statues of the Hindu elephant god from Leadro and Daun etc too! Life music until ten and then Indian television on a huge screen, which was hilarious as expected. It was not noisy at all. There were about 6 tables of us including Indian families.

The bill came to HKD500 for two. They also offer buffet lunch at HKD95.

I would recommend it. I have just applied for their VIP card as well .....
