My first time in this restaurant, and I was not disappointed. Simple and elegantly presented, the wow factor was in the taste of the food. We started with cocktails and got a plate of fried whitebait 炸白飯魚which was out of this world- meaty, crispy and tender at the same time. This was followed by a very flavorsome Har Kau 九號舘蝦餃which we thought we’d try because it bore the restaurant’s name ( a true signature]. My first time in this restaurant, and I was not disappointed. Simple and elegantly presented, the wow factor was in the taste of the food. We started with cocktails and got a plate of fried whitebait 炸白飯魚which was out of this world- meaty, crispy and tender at the same time. This was followed by a very flavorsome Har Kau 九號舘蝦餃which we thought we’d try because it bore the restaurant’s name ( a true signature]. The mini winter melon soup 迷你冬瓜盅(must order in advance ) was a delight with lots of ingredients, such as crab meat and seafood delicacies. Steaming hot right to the end, you could easily spoon out all the melon meat. No waste at this table! The boneless fried chicken ( 炸子雞)is a must try. While many places serve this, the taste here was classically excellent. For veggies, we had the Kai Lan in clay pot 啫啫芥蘭煲. Very good, and the serving was generous. ( we had eaten lots before taking the pic!). Overall , it was a lovely dining experience!
