As a Hongkonger who stay in Singapore for more than 15 years and often go to Malaysia for food. The lady boss told me that they changed the recipe of their bak kut teh which make it taste better with more healthy ingredients (Chinese herbal). I can tell the “heart” of the food from the first sip of the bak kut teh soup.

For laksa, personally I love Singapore style of laksa more (with more coconut milk taste) but their laksa is more fresh and light soup base which you can drink finish the soup easily.
