I have really come to enjoy what Chips Republic Café has to offer in terms of variety (think burgers, fries, fish & chips etc.). Their bread and butter has always been their burgers but they have some really funky fries too.

This is a new item on their menu - cajun coated prawns, homemade aioli sauce on golden fried chips ($55). The key was the homemade aioli sauce that was so good.

They have also got the most impressive collection of milkshakes in the city, ranging the all-time classics (chocolate, vanilla, banana and strawberry) to some of the more unusual flavors (blueberry, mint chocolate, green tea and Bailey's VC). When it comes to milkshakes, I am a little less adventurous, so I ended up taking the caramel shake ($42). It was pretty rich and creamy. Not as strong as the one from Double D but nevertheless very fulfilling.
