There were a lot of people queuing outside Pun's food  at 2pm on a Saturday. Thankfully, the wait was not long, and we waited for around 5-10 minutes before being able to have a table. The staff were very efficient in asking us to fill in the forms or scan the Leave Home Safe QR code while waiting, so we could directly enter without holding up the line when seats were available.

We ordered Pun's Braised Pork Rice, which arrived pretty quickly, in around 5 minutes. Although the presentation did not look very good, as the food looked dry and the braised pork were randomly and carelessly scattered on the rice, it tasted good. The braised pork were well seasoned and juicy, which helped decrease the dryness of the rice. The sour cucumbers went really well with the slightly sweet braised pork, and the texture was a large contrast to the soft pork, rice, and egg. The portion is an average portion, not too small or too large, but not enough to make you full.

We also ordered a Shida Deep Fried Pork Ribs and Braised Pork Rice, which arrived after around 10 minutes. The plate of pork ribs were quite large, and they were quite crispy without being oily.  They were soft on the inside and easy to bite, which made it a very enjoyable experience.

The Strawberry Cheese Milk Foam was a good choice to wash down the food, as it was not too sweet, yet was full of rich strawberry flavor. However, the cheese milk foam was too thin and watery for my liking.

The cold Taiwanese Taro Rice Ball arrived around 5 minutes after we finished our mains (as it says on the menu it requires 10-15 minutes to make, so I'd suggest you to order it along with your mains). It was quite large for one person, but just right for 2 people to share. It was full of purple, light purple, and yellow taro balls, boba, and grass jelly with a brown sugar soup base. The taro balls were chewy and satisfying, while the soft grass jelly was a good complement to all the other chewy items in the dessert. However, I wish there would be less ice in the dessert, as it is hard to avoid spooning the ice when your just want to spoon taro balls or the soup base.
