Big mistake.

This place is unprofessional, disorganized and overpriced.

With so much choice for HK style tea cafes there is no reason to come here. Tai Kwun should replace MaoMaoEat with a better operator that represents this style of restaurant to locals and tourists.

It took 30 minutes for two simple toasted ham and egg sandwiches, with one coming ten minutes after another. HK$26 each.

Half of the menu was not available due to the fryer being broken and the kitchen was incompetent, with sounds of laughter and chatting being heard while lines were piling up outside.

The dining area was messy and no one tended to it.

There was no urgency or professionalism. The staff were curt and forcefully polite. They themselves obviously didn’t want to be there.

If I can give less than one star, I would. Tai Kwun, please get rid of them.
