I have been a frequent customer of this restaurant and I have to say that the service of the restaurant has totally gone from bad to worse. Firstly, the table we were given had a 2 cm gap from the table next to us so we felt like we were dining with total strangers throughout the whole dinner. Firstly, the table we were given had a 2 cm gap from the table next to us so we felt like we were dining with total strangers throughout the whole dinner. I expect this at a local Chinese noodle place and not a high end Japanese restaurant.
Secondly, the food took ages to come and they got the order wrong and brought the wrong food. i have also had my fair share of sushi to know that it doesn't take 30 mins to make a handroll.
During the meal, we were mostly ignored by the waiters and waitresses because they were too busy serving frequent customers.
Lastly, most of the time when I have had the omakase at this restaurant, we usually get charged 1000hkd per omakase. However, today the bill was 4400hkd for 2 omakase and one small pot of sake. I honestly don't know how the charge their customers and feel like the restaurant overcharges you when they want to. Most of the food were "seasonal" so did not have a price tag when I inquired why it was so expensive. And the bill took 25 mins to arrive!!
After today's experience, I will never come back to this restaurant again. Everything about this place has just gone downhill. If I want to have quality sushi, there are other places I will go since the meal was so overpriced anyways.
If you want bad service and overpriced sushi then this is the place to go. For others, I would suggest looking for another place cause nothing about the meal was enjoyable!
