Staff was unfriendly and borderline condescending. My party waited for over 30 minutes in between each dish, and when we asked if the kitchen could serve our food a little quicker, the server rudely responded that this is normal, and then said Kona is trying to be a traditional Japanese retaurant, where dinners are typically 3-4 hours. That is blatantly wrong and a lie, and after I corrected her, she then blamed how small the grill and how busy the chef was, Which is even more shocking, the rest

That is blatantly wrong and a lie, and after I corrected her, she then blamed how small the grill and how busy the chef was, Which is even more shocking, the restaurant was maybe half full throughout the night.
The food tasted great actually, and would recommend if you didnt feel like you were starving for most of the night.
