Went for the Thursday pork ribs special at north point. Very sad to say; the SPECIAL wasn’t special & we won’t be returning. Such high hopes for our cheat meal of the week. Central & Wan Chai set the bar too high I guess. And our third visit to north point left a terrible taste in our mouths. Poor service; waiters with attitudes didn’t know how to add coleslaw to our order for an extra charge. The ribs were way over-cooked (meat stuck to the bones like glue), smaller portions of sweet potato fries, and the side order of fried chicken was a plate full of flakes and batter. Sad to say that my gf and I have been put off the FRITES franchise for the foreseeable future and won’t be risking a FAIL for our 4th visit.. cheat meals will have to be found somewhere else.
