There're a couple of American burger chains in Hong Kong. Among them, I think Five Guys really takes the cake. I've never tried other Five Guys branches except the one in K11 Musea. There're a couple of American burger chains in Hong Kong. Among them, I think Five Guys really takes the cake. I've never tried other Five Guys branches except the one in K11 Musea. The fast food restaurant is decorated in American style. You can tell it judging from their menu board as the font and colour are straightforward. There's a display board on the wall telling what potatoes are used for the fries of the day. On that night, they used Australian potatoes for the fries. To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference in potatoes as I'm not a potato expert. I ordered a cheeseburger and little-sized fries. The cheeseburger was wrapped with aluminum foil, so the burger was still warm when I took it back to my seat. The beef was so tender and juicy, and the toppings made a great combination with the beef. The true surprise is always the fries. They were so crispy and toothsome, unlike some soggy fries from another American burger restaurant. The portion was not little at all! They gave a small cup of fries first, then poured another pan of fries into the takeout bag, so the portion was more than sufficient for one man. If you want to find an authentic American burger restaurant, that's the place you should go.
