Recently we’ve found a newly opened bar in Wan Chai somewhere close to CWB. Although it has been here not long, it’s interior, drinks, food, service made it one of most impressive bars in the district. >Every 5-8pm during weekday is their happy hour, why don’t we pop in for a round and have some good food ?>White Sangria (HKD45 Happy Hour)Lots of chunky green Apple in white wine, full of fruity flavor in every sip. It is a gin tonic mixed with English breakfast tea and orange juice, the taste is aromatic and kind of mellow, I like the orange garnish and the gradual color change.

Crispy tomato bread, white anchovy, aioli (HKD48), freshly tasted anchovy plus garlic mayo on a piece of crispy bread, be reminded not to leave it for long cus the tomato juice might make the crispy bread soggy, the quality of anchovy is good.

Foie gras lollipop (HKD78), Pan seared foie gras, crispy bread, mulled pear slices (HKD98), Foie gras in two styles, lollipop is so good to pair with our drinks, be sure not to finish it in one bite cus the crushed pistachio are way too good together with foie gras; we can’t believe it just cost HKD98 for three pieces of pan seared foie gras crispy bread ?! It is topped with mulled pear slices, the sweetness and aroma of pear just balanced the so called fattiness of foie gras I believe.

Fries with aioli (HKD38), Tortilla de patata (spanish potato omelette) (HKD78), these are one of our favorite and popular Spanish dishes , the server told us that many people love their homemade aioli, and so do WE. The proportion of garlic and mayo was just perfect. Poke the egg yolk and dip it, so good. The gooey sauce and chunks of potato in the omelette plus aioli (again >.<) is absolutely mouthwatering, it is a must order dish cus you won’t see it so often (especially in a bar). Those portion of food was fine indeed, perfectly for small groups of friend.
