Located close to the pier, this famous fish ball shop has conveniently become the first stop of a weekend excursion and food hunting tour in Cheung Chau. It was interesting to see the shop assistants kept putting fish balls in skewers, as the turn over rate was quite high, which was nice to me as it guaranteed fresh batches of fish balls to be served to customers.
Other than fish balls, they also sell squid balls, lobster balls, beef balls and other meat balls that I didn’t know what they are. Feel free to ask the shop assistants, they appear to be quite friendly in answering questions.

I got this famous fish ball skewer. HKD$10 for two gigantic fish balls, which were freshly cooked and hot. They had a fried surface, which wrapped the bouncy fish ball. The fish balls are so delicious and not fishy at all! I was actually very tempted to get a second! Definitely a must visit when you are in Cheung Chau!
