we gave this restaurant a try upon colleagues' recommendation. this small restaurant was dark inside with a bar and a few tables. a bit disappointed that there weren't many choices on their menu, but they had quite a long alcohol/wine list. we ordered 1 set dinner + an appeitiser.clams in white wine sauce: the clams, though small, were tasty with strong garlic and mild white wine flavour. however, they were just warm. i prefer hotter dishes.pumpkin soup with bread: the soup was poured out onl

clams in white wine sauce: the clams, though small, were tasty with strong garlic and mild white wine flavour. however, they were just warm. i prefer hotter dishes.
pumpkin soup with bread: the soup was poured out only when served to keep its temperature. it's very thoughtful of them . 2 types of butter were provided for the bread. 1 is butter mixed with herbs. another 1 i forgot. Again, thoughtful.
rib eye: this main course was like a picture(sort of). nice display of food. the meat, medium cooked, was juicy and tender. the side dishes were potato wedges and vegetables wrapped in bacon. the potato wedges were covered with smth like wasabi (green in color), the overall taste was good.
cheesecake + macaroon: it was the hard cheesecake i like. but too sweet and too small. i'm not surprised that the macaroon is too sweet. (it's bought not made by this restaurant)
hot chocolate: is it movenpick? i forgot. it was dark chocolate. my fd said it was very nice, not the ordinary over-sweet ones.
by the way, service was good and the environment was quite romantic. since it was small, the tables were quite crowded. lucky that it wasn't too noisy that night.
heard that they have wine tasting events. reli wanna try their wines or cocktails next time!
