Boyfriend let me choose a place for lunch as it would seem like the last time in a while we'd be dining out. I said I wanted to see what the new food court, Base Hall, had to offer. The place was definitely beautifully designed. The staff was nice too as they helped us find an empty table.The most interesting is the water tap. Boyfriend decided to get something from Pub 1842. This place offered craft beer on tap along with other items by Young Masters along with food. Menu is in English only. There is no 10% service charge as it's a food court. He decided on the brisket and beer pie ($58). This came with a bit of pickles that were REALLY REALLY sour.
The pie was amazing! The brisket was moist and tender. You could taste the beer used to soften the meat. The crust could have done with a bit more butter but it was still quite good. Size was decent as well. Would probaby be back to explore other options.
