So I went to get a Katsu Don for take out and had to wait forever just for the waitress to take my order because she was the only one on the floor - at night in Causeway Bay?!?!Anyways, I take my order home (which only took <5 min) and wow, it's the worse katsu don I have ever had . The batter is SUPER thick and tastes kind of funny, and not in a good way, with a kind of almond aftertaste. I have never in all my years of eating katsu don had to peel away the batter to just eat the pork inside.
Perhaps they're not known for their katsu, as they are a curry place, but still... to be this bad? It's unacceptable.
