This is the 3rd time I’ve been to this place and the past 2 times, I asked for a mochi, but they said they were sold out of individual mochis... instead, they had boxes of mochis that can only be sold as a set. This is the 3rd time I’ve been to this place and the past 2 times, I asked for a mochi, but they said they were sold out of individual mochis... instead, they had boxes of mochis that can only be sold as a set.
Kind of frustrated and annoyed that they can’t take them out and sell it. I don’t get why do they have to box so many of them in sets of 3 beforehand. Anyways, third time’s the charm and this time, even though they were “sold out” of individual mochis, they said “alright, we’ll open up a box” and I finally got an individual mochi :’) They probably recognized me 😂. The mochi was $6HKD for one, $15HKD for a set of 3. The mochi was smaller than I expected, but it was delicious! The mochi skin was soft and chewy, and not too thick. It was filled with grounded up black sesame seeds, peanuts, and sugar, which was a delicious combination. So happy that I could finally try it :’)
