I've been spoiled by Sprinkles Cupcake in the states. After coming to Hong Kong I've been trying to find a place that will satisfy my cupcake cravings. While shopping in MK, my friend and I passed by Cup Cakery. I couldn't believe my eyes, the interior was exactly like Sprinkles, I though it was too good to be true!! The cupcakes looked great and was inexpensive. So we went in and ordered what we thought would be the safest; a chocolate cupcake. Unfortunately, it was too good to be true... The c
While shopping in MK, my friend and I passed by Cup Cakery. I couldn't believe my eyes, the interior was exactly like Sprinkles, I though it was too good to be true!! The cupcakes looked great and was inexpensive. So we went in and ordered what we thought would be the safest; a chocolate cupcake. Unfortunately, it was too good to be true... The cupcake was really bad The cake itself was dry, I thought I was eating a leftover muffin. The frosting wasn't any better than the cake.
I can understand that they tried to make the cupcake less unhealthy and suitable to HK people. But lets admit... a cupcake is not meant to be healthy. If you're searching for an authentic cupcake, I would not suggest this place.
