This place needs a new chef!

My wife and I were there for lunch today. We were almost the first table there before 12noon. People there were friendly and seated us rightaway. The place is new, clean and seats are relatively comfortable, but seating space between tables in the middle aisle section is a little tight, so don't expect any privacy. My wife and I were there for lunch today. We were almost the first table there before 12noon. People there were friendly and seated us rightaway. The place is new, clean and seats are relatively comfortable, but seating space between tables in the middle aisle section is a little tight, so don't expect any privacy. Both the front servicing/bar counter and the kitchen are really clean, and the toilet is also very spacious and clean.

We placed our orders around 12:00PM, nothing fancy, just salad and a pasta dish, but it took them almost 40 minutes before the food arrived at our table. The same situation for other tables as we observed. Now about the food; the salad was just average, but the pasta was one of the worst we have ever tasted. The tomato sauce was soo tasteless and bland as if almost like someone just purred some low grade tomatoes and mixed with warm pasta. There was absolutely no herbs or spices whatsoever, it was flat as water. A can of V8 juice tastes better, seriously.

So in conclusion, the setting for the place is good, but the food is not, so definitely avoid if you are about satisfying your taste buds.
