Tokaj has long been Hungary's most famous and respected wine region, thanks mostly to its nectar-like, botrytized Tokaji dessert wines.

The primary grape variety used in a Tokaji blend is Furmint. It is a high-quality grape, with plenty of natural acidity, which helps ensure the longevity of Tokaji wines.

The second one would be Harslevelu, which occupies roughly one-third of Tokaji's total vineyard area, plays a key supporting role in the blend. A richly flavored grape variety, it is high in natural sugars and aroma compounds.

The last one that is Zeta, are also allowed in the blend, though these are quite uncommon and are regarded as more of a curiosity than a mainstay.

This sweet wine is crisp and fresh, a dash of stem of ginger on the entry, creamy in texture with the Azsu character more dominant here than on the nose. There is a lovely touch of mandarin and orange rind. It’s best pairs well with fruity-based desserts.
