I accompanied a friend for a off peak late lunch at 2:30pm and the restaurant was practically empty. We have only ordered $76 of food and didn't realize that there is a minimum charge of $80. The rude waitress didn't tell us. However, we were asked to pay $80 when we settled the bill. We didn't mind the extra $4 but the rude waitress should have informed us so that we may order a bit more. It's ridiculous that a place that serves bad food, a bit filthy with extremely rude staffs has minimum charge during non peak hours.
Both the stir fried noodles and dumplings were cold. You could hardly find a tiny piece of meat in the noodle. Should rename it to vegetarian stir fried noddles instead.....definitely not the Shanghainese noodles that I have tried elsewhere.
As for hygiene, there was a piece of dried green onion still sticking to the spoon, which was not properly washed.
