Hainan South is a hip Fusiony spot for locals. It’s kind of in the style of Teawood where they repackage popular Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Western options in an attractively presented, reasonably tasty format. The menu is presented as a magazine, like Teawood. We got the Tom yum gong pasta and fried pork cutlet curry. Both were attractively presented (cool plates) and tasted pretty good. Waitress was kinda brusk. Just a young millenial vibe
