Kofuku Station is a tuck shop like small restaurant in Sham Shui Po that sells seemingly delicious Japanese bentos and sandwiches at a really affordable price. Even though Kofuku Station mainly does take-away business, there is a tiny table (you could squeeze in two people there) for dine-in. So, I could try out their signature sandwiches on the spot.I chose this Unagi (eel) and Tamagoyaki Sandwich. Since it was prepared upon ordering, I did wait for a bit before I got it. I chose this Unagi (eel) and Tamagoyaki Sandwich. Since it was prepared upon ordering, I did wait for a bit before I got it. But it’s worth the wait.
The sandwich was toasted. The crunchy bread wrapped a full delicious eel inside with teriyaki sauce. The tamagoyaki wasn’t a full one as Kofuku Station serves legit tamagoyaki alone which should be thicker. Yet, this yummy one in the sandwich was just right to make you feel full and satisfied.
I was surprised that I didn’t make a mess eating this sandwich, nothing dropped out, not even the sauce! Amazing!
