Coming to Quarry Bay for lunch with my friend today and it was just a like a warzone during lunch time. We have waited for half an hour at another restaurant without a table so we have decided to changed our plan to come here for some Jap food. For each lunch set, miso soup and an appetiser is provided. I had mini octopus as my appetiser. The miso soup was bland with some Japanese fish cake but at least it was hot. Teriyaki Beef with Rice ($55)The sliced beef was quite sweet with a bit of savour

Teriyaki Beef with Rice ($55)

The sliced beef was quite sweet with a bit of savouriness in taste in taste. With some sprinkles of sesame seed and seaweed, sitting on a bed of warm Japanese pearl rice.

The seats were extremely tight and uncomfortable. If you are unlucky, you may have to share those mini tables with strangers face-to-face. To me, I think $55 for a lunch in Quarry Bay area should be average. There are lots of other options out there and I am going to try other places if I happen to find a seat, which is definitley not easy during lunch hour!

p.s. The same set only costs $40 if you choose to take away!!!
Other Info. : Take-away is a lot cheaper than dine-in
