Decided to give this a try as haven't had Korean food for a while and the reviews are very complimentary for the dishes served here.  Arrived to an empty restaurant on a Sunday evening and ordered three dishes from the a la carte menu: whole fried chicken, beef cold noodle and grilled wagyu steak.  Curiously it took well over 30min for the food to appear without any explanation.  Another table was seated later than us but was served first - perhaps the set up is geared to set menu rather than a la carte.  Anyway, the chicken arrived first after the long wait, was satisfyingly hot and crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, though taste-wise it was on the sweet side.  Next up was the beef cold noodles, surprisingly good taste and the noodles were quite chewy, well balanced by the pickled parsnip slices.  The grilled wagyu steak was the least good out of the three with a coarse fibre and somewhat lacking in taste.  Maybe we should have gone for the tasting menu after all but doubt we will want to return.
Other Info. : Service was fine, warm water was topped up frequently and dishes cleared in good time.
