Came here for a bday dinner with high expectation. The restaurant positions itself as modern italian, but the flavors were often muddled and lacked the depth and complexity one would expect from a 9-course tasting menu at $1200 for two.
While the ambiance and service were commendable, the food failed to deliver a truly memorable dining experience. At times we felt that maybe the chef was trying to do too much with a 9-course menu, when he could have benefited from honing in on just a few dishes and executing them well. The emphasis on presentation over substance left us feeling underwhelmed and questioning the value proposition.
Posso may appeal to those seeking a new Italian experience, those seeking a truly memorable culinary journey might be better off exploring other options.
