 Finally, Saturday is here and of course, I need to celebrate it with special food. Me and my friend went to Kwan Tong to try this popular restaurant. To start with, we received the salad. The vegetables were fresh and the dressing was a bit sour. The purple sweet potato soup was amazingly tasty. The texture was thick and had a strong sweet potato flavour. You could only taste the sweet potato, there were no additional spice in this soup. It was just delicious!
 We could smell the bread from a distance. The home-made Itiaian bread was sosososo yummy! It was so soft and I love the spice that they put in the bread.

Penne with portobello at tomato sauce, the penne was cooked perfectly. The portobello mushroom was delicious, I think they use only butter to cook it and didn't add any spice to it. The mushroom was full of flavour and soft. It didn't need any extra spice because it was so tasty on its own. They added fresh tomato in their sauce that's why it was not too sour and I could tasted some tomato crumb. There were also pepper and onion.

Grilled Australia black Angus rib eye with cepes gravy, we asked for medium well and they were cooked exactly the way we asked. It was tender and melted in your mouth. They were very easy to chew. After dipping into the gravy, it tasted even better. The mashed potato was peppery but I love the taste.

It was my first time to eat "mizu shingen mochi". It was transparent and looked like a big drop of water. You will need to eat the big transparent jelly with the soybean powder and  brown sugar syrup becuase it had no taste on its own.
