My dad and I just came down from visiting the Peak. We were resting and we saw ice cream, there were two choices: Haagen Dazs or Gino's Gelato. We have never been to Gnio's Gelato therefore we decided to go there. We wanted to know the prices but there weren't any besides one man asking what flavour do you want. After getting two separate single scoop of melting ice cream in a cone, the cashier said it was $96 hong kong dollars! That is acceptable if it were a bit more, that single scoop was so small you would finish it in one bite and it was melting very fast. The taste was not extraordinary and the waffle just didn't taste good at all (a bit burnt.) Even at Haagen Dazs, the quality is so much better that it's worth the price. The staff said it was an accpetable price, yes I agree to but not for the type of quality ice cream you are serving to your customers. Our day was turned to be unhappy and my dad got grumpy, I don't recommend anyone visiting Gino's gelato again at the Peak. It may be different at other branches but not the one at the Peak.
