The set dinner menu was also promoted by United We Dine so I went their to try their dinner.The Seared Lobster Salad was off to a great start. The mango and passion fruit gave it a refreshing taste. It was plated beautifully and I had quite high hopes for the coming lobster dishes.However, the lobster bisque was a bit of a let down. However, the lobster bisque was a bit of a let down. It wasn't bad but I would have expected it to more concentrated. The puff pastry was excellently done though. The risotto was unfortunately a bit disappointing. I enjoy al dente but some pieces were actually were hard. Moreover, there are many lobster chunks but its mixed into the risotto. I think for presentation they could have saved a whole piece to put onto the top for a more stunning appearance even with the same amount of lobster.
The Crepe Suzette definitely gained back some points. The amount and sweetness of the sauce was just right. The oranges on top also gave the dessert a lovely tartness to it.
I have to say, given the add-ons of both the soup and the risotto, they do need to improve them a bit.
