This afternoon tea semi-buffet is only available at weekdays. The restaurant is quite spacious and comfortable. For the price of 148, you can enjoy their unlimited desserts and 1 main course. Some main courses need a supplementary cost. The most special promotion of this buffet is that they have 2 types of ice-cream Häagen-Dazs AND Mövenpick up to 8 flavors For the main we added a supplementary cost for the Braised Beef and the Angus Beef Burger. For the main we added a supplementary cost for the Braised Beef and the Angus Beef Burger. The braised beef was extremely tender and the consistency of the sauce was just right. I would have wished the vegetables were cooked with the beef as well instead of just put on top of it but seriously for this price I cannot ask for more.
There were other condiments for the ice-cream as well as fruit and warm desserts(hence the name Ice and Fire Afternoon Tea).
In view the menu did not mention drinks, I was a bit surprised when we got to order drinks(it includes regular coffee and tea).
The servers were all efficient and cleaned up our dirty utensils quickly and politely reminded us at 5pm that the buffet will end at 5:15.
I would say for a dessert buffet, if you exclude the ice-cream choice, it may not be the best. However, given this price, I would say this afternoon tea definitely has a high, if not highest, CP value and definitely recommend others to try it during one of your weekday leaves.
Other Info. :
Can try their other desserts first before ice-cream as the queue is a bit long initially but gradually subsides later on. The price below is the price for this afternoon buffet if only regular main courses are chosen
