As FoodPraiser, I don’t usually write reviews on substandard restaurants, unless it pisses me off, like this one. I Gotta blame myself for my wrong decision as I should’ve made my way to Tirpse on Christmas celebration…

Just as we were entering the restaurant, the staff showed our way to an indoor table 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 (with a reserved table at an outdoor area), so simply no reserve signs on any two of the tables left at their outdoor area, 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬…

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 as they don’t seem to be serious about their reservations, 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 as I remarked to be ordering from the Christmas Festive Menu. And how surprising it was to have 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐬, feeling as if we were outsiders waiting for them to finish their conversation just to set up our table for us (which was supposed to be done beforehand with the reservation, 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐤).

Apart from that, what got us most disgusted would be 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜 𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐬, not sure if they have properly washed the wine glasses though. Not to mention how they have 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 for our main course… 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 while bunch of diners waiting for their help… and having a 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 at their outdoor dining area to have us 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞…🤯❌

Nothing gets me more pissed off than 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟’𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on their “$9 Free Flow Oyster” offer, turns out to be $9 each instead of an actual free flow.
Can’t blame anyone for this as they did write it on the menu with tiny fonts, but the male staff did 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 $𝟗…🙂 (they did have decent quality oysters, but definitely a scam with their ig advertising and the explanation from the staff…)

With all those umpteen mistakes made by the staffs, the 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭, so this one would be a BLACKLIST for me and I would never recommend it to anyone to dine in for any sort of occasion. Awfully disappointed as I should’ve made my visit to a proper fine-dining restaurant on Christmas celebration.
