Walking up Hollywood Road in Central, it’s hard to miss Doubleshot, the newest cafe/bar by Cupping Room, where you can get both your caffeine and alcohol fix anytime of the day. The eggs benedict was the same price as their other branches, but you get to choose between house smoked salmon or bacon (instead of pulled pork) here. The smoked salmon was thick and fatty, much more like sashimi than the frozen packs from supermarkets, while their signature orange and grapefruit slices on the side gave the dish a refreshing sweet-tarty twist. The two poached Japanese eggs were runny and went well with the aerated Hollandaise sauce, which had an extra silky texture.

In line with their other branches, the hot chocolate had marshmallows (my fave!) and sprinkled cocoa powder on top, but this one had a darker semi-sweet flavor - super recommend!
