After finishing our grocery shopping at Aeon, it was already dinner time, thus we decided to have dinner first before heading home. PHAYA THAI was located inside AEON Style at the Whampoa, couple of minutes walk from Whampoa MTR. Mixed mung bean in coconut milk was smooth and milky, sweet in taste and those jelly was soft and chewy. Butterfly pea in coconut milk was milky and sweet too.
Deep fried century egg was fried till the skin was crispy and yet the egg inside was soft, with sweet and sour sauce provided to enhance the taste.
Pork Thai green curry - It was creamy and slightly thick in texture. It was flavourful and spicy, with plenty of vegetables and pork in it. Pork was chewy and juicy.
Tom Yum seafood soup - It consisted of mushroom and tiger prawn in it. Soup was clear and spicy. Mushroom was chewy and juicy and prawn was fresh and juicy too.
Thai fried rice with prawn paste - The chef was generous with the portion of the rice, enough for 3 to 4 person's serving. Rice was fried till chewy and fragrant, with strong prawn taste. It consisted of fried egg, pork floss and sausage cubes, making it tasty.
