Veg 6 in Causeway Bay was our most recent vegetarian / vegan restaurant exploration. Quite with the likes of a few others we've visited here, it had a lot of options, replete with dumplings, stir-fry, fried rice, noodles, tofu, and some Japanese rolls.

The child had a bit of a meltdown as he was hungry and they were out of the mango rolls, but eventually made peace with rice noodles.

We ordered dumplings that were dumped in a spicy, chilli oil dressing. They were excellent. Thin wrappers, subtly flavoured stuffings and a very feisty dressing.

The roll was fried kale and veggies. We asked them to skip the eggs, and so that sauce topping was amiss here, but they tasted good, nevertheless, with a touch of wasabi and soy sauce.

The stir-fry noodles were your usual, but that "pork" that it came with could perhaps be one of the best textured and tasting pieces of soy/gluten stuff I've had in a while.

This was Saturday evening over a long weekend, and it was relieving to get a table without prior reservations at 19:30.
