I wrote an article on this restaurant here months ago, at that time, I had not gone there for about 2 years.Just went there 1 week ago at about 830. Extremely disappointed, a lot of the "authentic" dishes which people could choose from the set menu were not available because they said we were too late.So just ordered what we thought were authentic left on the menu.The result/taste of the dishes were greatly disappointed. So just ordered what we thought were authentic left on the menu.
The result/taste of the dishes were greatly disappointed. Enjoy eating Sichuan food for over 15 years and often do a lot of travelling to Shenzhen to enjoy Sichuan food.
Before I always thought that it was one of the two Sichuan restaurants serving authentic sichuan food. I was wrong. The price for 2 was almost 400. BUT, BUT I could assure you guys that the taste is now even worse than a lot of less authentic Sichuan food in HK (of course I am not sure whether their chef was on leave or not on that night). But my wife and me would never go there again and would never let them greatly disappoint us again.
In short, NOT AUTHENTIC SICHUAN FOOD. SPENDING ABOUT 200 FOR EACH FOR TRYING NOT AUTHENTIC SICHUAN FOOD, THERE ARE MANY OTHER BETTER CHOICES IN HK. Hai....
