Service - Average. I asked for a dessert menu when we ordered our mains (I need time to decide what desserts to get) but the waitress forgot about it. One of them came over to ask us how the dishes were but he walked off after he finished the sentence. We have heard some good reviews of the fish and chips so my husband ordered one.
For myself, I miss the gammon steak from UK so I thought to myself I gotta have one when I noticed it on the menu.
We didn't wait too long for the food but they were disappointing. First of all the gammon steak was not salty - when I said not salty I meant it tasted like a non seasoned piece of meat. Yeah that's how bad it was. It comes with a pineapple and 2 fried eggs BECAUSE they would go well with the salty gammon steak. BUT THE GAMMON STEAK WAS NOT SALTY. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED.
And for the fish and chips, it was surprising to see that in such a famous restaurant, the chips was 're-fried' chips, i.e.The chips color were dark brown, crusts were very dry. And the fish were dry and stiff, clear indication that it wasn't fresh.
The mains were a disaster but the dessert was good. Apple crumble met the standard of a normal English pub. We also ordered the espresso an Irish cream shake (not a huge fan).
It costed around $780 and I am not going there again, there are better options in tst
