My birthday dinner at the Promenade Restaurant in Harbour Front Metropolis.Ard $6xx (HSBC card 15% off )The buffet is much better than I expected.Although we weren’t given window seats due to late booking, we sat at a quiet corner near the food. The restaurant is spacious and the ceiling is high so it gives a grand feeling.I like the seafood best! Lobsters, crabs, sashimi, oysters… Lots of varieties! Most importantly, they are extremely fresh and huge in size. The taste is excellent! The lobster

The buffet is much better than I expected.
Although we weren’t given window seats due to late booking, we sat at a quiet corner near the food. The restaurant is spacious and the ceiling is high so it gives a grand feeling.
I like the seafood best! Lobsters, crabs, sashimi, oysters… Lots of varieties! Most importantly, they are extremely fresh and huge in size. The taste is excellent! The lobsters are full of roes, the crab legs are super long and juicy, the sashimi is of very high quality—the Hokkaido scallops are bigger than a Chinese chess and we can order the belly part for the fish like salmon, swordfish and hamachi. They are refilled quickly too and you don’t need to line up for a long time after 7:30pm.
The cooked food is also nice. I particularly like the goose liver with toast. The foie gras is very creamy and the toast is crispy like a cracker. The other hot dishes like the thai cuisine is very savoury too.
The salad, ham, cheese and fruits are fine too. Although the desserts are not quite satisfactory, being too sweet or sometimes even strange, there are Haagen-Dazs cups and bars! The mango pomelo sago is also very refreshing.
We ate till 10pm— plenty of time to take photos/ videos and enjoyed the food slowly. The service is quite nice too.
