after checking out peek-a-poke's poke bowls twice some time ago, my craves for poke bowls came back. this time @elliana.ho and i came here for salmon pokes again.
this "build your own bowl" of mine is actually almost the same as a regular "california" bowl, just the little difference of green salad instead of sushi rice.
i mean, poke bowls can never be dull, the colours... ingredients... i just love how simple it is yet every bite is layered with many. just a tiny distaste, too much sauce was added.
after finishing it, we chatted for a bit and unexpectedly, the waiter served us bite-sized gingerbread cookies 🍪, it was so heartwarming and i'm definitely coming again for a "go green" or a "poh-keh" !!
