Very oily好油啊Miss Southeast Asian food so much. ASAM look very interesting.Ordered the signature boneless Hainanese chicken rice.$88+10 chicken legs +10 drinks Ordered 2 sides dishes : fish cakes and Kay’s toast. Friend ordered the beef brisket rice. Let’s start with the sauces, not made form scratch. Soup is average. Nothing stand out. Flavour rice is tasty, color darken than other places I tried. Which is attractive. Chicken is tender. But really really oily. Is like they added another layer

Let’s start with the sauces, not made form scratch.
Soup is average. Nothing stand out.
Flavour rice is tasty, color darken than other places I tried. Which is attractive.
Chicken is tender. But really really oily. Is like they added another layer of oil on top ok purpose.
Fish cake : soo greasy. Seem like they deep fired and place it on the plate straight away from the deep fryer. Disgusting
Toast:
Premade. Not freshen
They serve the Kay’s toast before main course. The bread is a bit chewy.
What a huge disappointment. Waste my kcal.
The sauce of the curry beef brisket is very flavoured.
The curry base texture is slimy because of the vegetables ( don’t know what’s is call) which is interesting.
Conclusion :
Won’t go back again.
非常之油膩未食過咁油嘅星馬餐廳。
叫咗一個去骨海南雞飯$88加$10轉比加$10嘢飲，醬料不過不失.湯平平無奇.唔覺得有龍龍雞湯會煨煮. 啲飯食唔出斑斕葉，有少少香茅味.顏色偏深.覺得幾吸引，啲雞油超級油，雖然軟滑.好似食緊油落肚咁。
跟住到小食嗌咗個斑蘭雞央多士再加一個秘製炸魚餅.唔覺的係被仔囉因為同其他商店食嘅喺廠買過嚟再查冇乜分別，超級油淋淋，好心就鯨一鯨乾啲油先上碟.懶惰
至於個多士.唔係即上碟囉擺咗一陣先至俾啲客，唔知係咪整定一大堆有人嗌就send出去麵包有少少chewy地. 講真未食過都算偏差嘅咖央多士.
$38 兩款小食
嗌左個咖喱牛腩飯，少少辣，啲汁非常之好味，啲汁有啲杰撻撻係因為佢用咗一啲蔬菜，唔知叫乜名，令到咖喱汁有質感，幾有趣。
總結，冇乜特別唔會再去. 未食過嘅人可以可以一試
