Very poor food and service

Had a reservation for outside, all OK there. Chose the set lunch menu, Minestrone Soup and the "signature: Mosticiolli pasta dish. Minestrone soup was cold. There was not much more than a thimble full of it, a tiny portion in a large bowl. We had to wait an age for the main course, I am always suspicious when waiting at lunchtime, having selectd their set lunch menu. It's all pre-prepared isn't it? Ah, hold on, they were waiting for us to finish the ridiculously overpriced wine and order another

The Mosticiolli pasta is basically overcooked penne with an ordinary tomato sauce on it. Oh, it was cold, I complained, had it taken away, waited another 10 minutes for it to return microwave scorched. Almost inedible. At this point it was about 2:30 in the afternoon and the restaurant was virtually empty. It took us an age to get the bill as well. Maybe we should just have left.

Anyway, won't be returning. it's a nothing restaurant, with food that is much too expensive for what it is.
