After bringing my sister to lunch buffet last weekend, it was time for some Italian comfort food this week at Paper Moon, one of my favorite new restaurants in town.Everyone has been complaining about Paper Moon's reservation lines (on various forums) claiming that no one was there to pick up the phone. One of the strengths of Paper Moon has been their pizzas. Hot out of the oven with a nice crispy crust.

Fettucine alla bolognese ($168) - We started things off with their homemade fettuccine and classic Bolognese ragout. The homemade fettuccine was nice and eggy so even an average Bolognese ragout made this very tasty (Grade: 3.5/5).

Pizza Valtellina ($198) - I had this time last time I was here. The timeless combination of mozzarella, rocket leaves and parmigiano reggiano never failed to impress and it tasted even better with all the beef bresaola on top (Grade: 4/5).

Risotto alla certosina ($238) - My sister wanted a risotto and we picked this one with lots of seafood in it (prawn, baby cuttlefish, baby octopus, scallop and mussels). Slightly soupy but pretty decent (Grade: 3/5).

Gamberoni con verdure alla griglia ($288) - Mom picked the grilled jumbo prawns with fennel salad and green zucchini. Not bad (Grade: 3/5).

Costoletta di vitello alla Milanese ($328) - I have been thinking about this dish after my last visit. The breaded Milanese veal chop with rocket salad and cherry tomato was arguably the best meat dish in the house. The veal was a little dry this time but I thought everyone enjoyed it very much. No question a crowd pleaser around here (Grade: 3.5/5).

Papermoon tiramisu ($98) - The namesake dessert, we won't miss it for the world! This was a little pricey for the small package but I was glad we went for it.

This was the perfect texture I was looking for. Soft, moist and almost a little foamy on the upper half. The amount of liquor was spot on, too. Nice one (Grade: 4/5).

For the second straight time, we had a pretty relaxing lunch here that we enjoyed a lot. The combination of a nice harbour view, friendly service and above average food really made this an ideal choice to bring our visiting family and friends over.
