This place (for brunch) is mainly focusing on sandwiches and rice bowl. Most of their sandwich fillings are fused with Hong Kong style, such as Ngau Lam (Hong Kong style beef brisket), and Char Siu (Hong Kong style BBQ pork). They are also offering veggie options.
We have ordered Ngau Lam Wich, Avo Toast, and Rose Honey Oolong Tea.
Ngau Lam Wich: Filling is made with 18 hours show cooked beef brisket, chu hou mayo and pickled white radish. The sandwich bread is toasted very crispy, and the beef brisket is in good flavor, not to salty but very match with the bread, and the chu hou mayo is very special. The pickled white radish is not too sour, so it is very well balanced with the beef brisket. The side dishes are kumquat cabbage and lotus root chips. Kumquat cabbage is very refreshing, and very strong fruity flavor; lotus root chips are very crispy and come with a very special sauce, it is one of my favorite.
Avo Toast: Sliced avocado and scrambled egg on butter toasted ciabatta bread, with ginger scallion creme fraiche. Butter toasted ciabatta bread is very crispy. Scrambled egg is not over cooked and very creamy and the avocado is sliced evenly with some sweet and spicy seasoning. The ginger scallion creme fraiche is very special, it is a bit spicy but very refreshing, but ginger flavor is quite strong, so ppl who do not like ginger may not like this sauce.
Rose Honey Oolong Tea: Refreshing cold drink, Oolong tea flavor is not that strong, and with a hit of rose honey.
If you like very special fusion food, I would highly recommend this place for you!
