Hana is a Japanese restaurant on Causeway Bay Lantern Street which provides a quiet, comfortable dining environment with spacious seats. It specializes in high-end wagyu dishes but also provides a variety of affordable lunch sets in the afternoon, including sushi, udon, tempura, don bowls, sukiyaki and amiyaki. We ordered the latter two sets to sample their A3 Japanese wagyu in two ways. The sukiyaki came in a pot with bubbling soup and a variety of condiments including tofu, vegetables, shitake and enokis, with three blankets of beautifully-marbled wagyu gilded on top. The amiyaki steak was melt-in-the-mouth tender, and was imbued with grilled fragrance. It was generous in portion as well. The lunch sets also come with appetizers, pickled vegetables, salad, steamed egg, miso soup and dessert that will surely make customers fully satiated. Do try out this restaurant if you are looking for a decent place for lunch, or if you are in the mood to indulge in a wagyu feast.
