Planning to pack some meat back home for dinner, I walked past Siu Mei Lou Si and saw a large crowd queuing outside the stall waiting for their order. It was a take-away roasted meat stall, offering a wide range of meat such as roasted meat, BBQ pork and ribs, chicken, goose and duck etc. Their price was wallet-friendly as well.
Roasted goose - Even though we ordered half portion, but the serving was huge, covering the whole box. The goose was roasted till juicy and fatty in texture, with the skin crispy and thin in texture. Goose meat was tender and chewy as well.
BBQ pork ribs - The rib was cut into long in shape and marinated till juicy and sweet in taste. It was chewy, with plenty of meat on the ribs as well.
Original flavour shredded chicken - It was shredded till thin in texture, smooth and chewy. Sauce was provided to enhance the flavour.
